Actuator API

With v6.3.0, the Dataspace Connector offers a REST endpoint that checks the currently used version against the latest available release. If a new version is available, the API will return the relevant information.

The functionality can be reached by calling the endpoint GET /actuator/info.

As a response, you receive a JSON object containing information about the current version as well as the latest release. This will look as follows, e.g.:

To make this endpoint accessible, info must be present in the allowed web outputs within the application.properties:

management.endpoints.web.exposure.include=info
